Hamburger gets a bad rap for
having a lot of calories. But consider this: If one 4oz. patty
of extra lean hamburger has 140 calories*, then 1oz. Hamburger,
crumbled, fried and drained of fat can can only have 35 calories,
and probably has less.
Crumble and fry 1 pound hamburger.
Drain all liquids twice.
Wipe pan clean of fat and return
meat.
Add:
1/4C Taco seasoning**
2/3C water and simmer
Heat one can fat free refried
beans** slowly.
Chop a nice pile of lettuce
and a medium sized tomato.
Shred 4 oz. cheddar cheese.
Blend 1/2C sour cream till slightly
liquid.
With the oven on 300, heat 8
tostada shells** for about 5 minutes.
